An Encouraging Word
From Trent

“Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” It is the word of God. It’s supernatural in origin, eternal in birth, inexpressible in value, infinite in duration, infallible in scope, regenerative in power, incomparable in authority, universal in interest, personable in application, inspired in totality. Read it, write it down, memorize it and pray it into your heart. Work it out and pass it on! I Employ you brothers and sisters The word of God will change you until you become a living Epistle of God. It will transform your mind, changed your character, and move you from grace to grace shaping you into the image and nature of the Father. By the word of God faith is birthed. Faith must be apprehended in a violent pursuit toward God by hearing His voice that springs forth from a fountain of blood called faith. For it is from this fountain alone that God is pleased. Faith is the only acceptable currency a son or daughter can use to move the heart of God into motion. Faith is what bridges, “The hoped for”, into a reality, from things seen into the things unseen. Faith shines into darkness with brilliance like the sun in its strength. Faith is what opens the Divine vault of God’s wonders, and it’s the bolt that locks the Gates of Hell! It is the only road and as we all know it’s narrow and easily missed. So in light of this truth together let us seek diligently after this faith that will shake the Thrown of Heaven giving forth the revelation Of The Son! Gaining now an inward understanding from our pursuit toward God in faith: to know Him greater, to know Him deeper, to know Him as, to know nothing else. To look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. To look unto the designer of the very means in which we love, breath, move, and function in His presence. Look unto Him who gives the very power by which my heart beats now, and my soul is saved. Look unto Him the first and the last the infinite giver of Heavenly riches. So some ask how? Consciously and unconsciously surrender every possible distraction removing them not as an act of religious exercise, but as a love offering expectable, and pleasing to the Lord of Faith. Throw yourself into the fire of refinement purifying a means of entry into The Kingdom of God.
Salvations, healings, and discipleship still underway.
We continue to preach and minister to either Burmese or Thai people at every opportunity & the Holy Spirit is moving! There is one particular salvation story we would like to share of a girl name, Det Trey. She is precious! She is a Burma refugee. She had been in Nam Khem only 3 days before entering our Burmese church in the village. On her first visit, she heard the Gospel & wanted Jesus!!! Hallelujah! Following asking Jesus to be the Lord of her life she asked us to pray that she would have a job. She had no money. Within the week we are excited to share that the Lord provided Det Trey with a very blessed job! Jobs are not in abundance & we thank God for His provision! Our God is FAITHFUL!

Healing! At a local hospital Trent was asked to come and pray for one of our Thai friends family members who was in a vegetative state. He had a tumor in his head the size of ping-pong ball & was unresponsive. Through prayer and the laying on of hands, the Holy Spirit awoke this man & he later left the hospital walking around. A few weeks later the operation was set to remove the tumor, as it was believed to be cancerous. This man was back in the hospital in I.C.U. and back in a coma. Trent and the Thai family drove to the hospital to pray again. This time the man was scheduled to be care flighted to a major city, as he was unresponsive yet again. The surgery had a 20% survival rate and believed medically to be his only hope. Immediately upon Trent and the family entering the room his machines were going crazy. He awoke again & wanted to write. Trent and the family prayed and the Holy Spirit touched this man. 3 days later this man had no surgery & was eating on his own! Thank you Jesus for this healing!

Discipleship! The work continues in rising up nationals to preach and teach among their own culture. The Burmese church is still going strong with more people coming to the Lord each month! Thank you Jesus! Si Mo Mo is still our lead disciple & the plan is for him to start a church plant at the jungle site. Our team is also praying over a Thai work. Up to this point the interest has been among the Burmese people & we are praying for an opportunity within the Thai community. Please labor with us in prayer, as we feel led to pursue this.

Jungle School Update
It has been such an amazing few weeks! We have had our ups and down’s of ministry at the Ba NY Ci Jungle School site. We have lost one of our National Burmese Teacher, Cia Thone to Hep C, and to Siroccos of the liver. He had a passion to teach & he is the main reason this school site ever began. He faithfully went and talked with all the parents to get the children to come to school & they did! He will be greatly missed! We are thankful that through the last few weeks of his life he was able to fix his eyes on Jesus! As his family here, we are thankful for that time for him to end his life with this mindset! In Cia Thones’ death it was an opportunity for the children to be brought to the “edge of eternity”. This helped them to see the urgency and need for their Savior. I am very excited to share the story of Than Than Sin (left in picture). She is a young girl who comes from a rough home life. Than Than Sin is one of the regular students. It took her several weeks to warm up to me, and she finally has! She was 1 of 3 of our “regular” students that had not yet prayed or showed an interest in receiving Christ. The exciting news is that this is our 2nd student that has had Jesus visit them in a dream! Her dream is beautiful! I will share this for you because it is a powerful testimony! Than Than Sin in her dream was out in the middle of the ocean in the deep. She could not swim and was scared. She saw Jesus walk to her (on the water) and pull her up and out and hugged her and told her “I love you”! She says she knows Jesus loves her! She prayed that day and asked Jesus to to be her Lord and Savior! She is excited that her life will be a prayer to her Lord! Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus!

Household News!!!

Well, our little family is happy & healthy! Thank you Jesus! The kids are all still loving Kindergarten & so am I! It is such a thrill to teach my kids. I really appreciate them to a new level as they are learning to read. They are AMAZING kids!

We are sad to say that we did have to give our puppy away L “Shugz” turned out to have a “mean-streak”. We all prayed that the Lord would bring us the perfect dog. I hope you are not shocked, but our prayers were answered!!!!! Woo Hoo! This is huge because of the heartache our children had. In our community there was an Australian man who had a dog & when he left, he also left his dog. This dog had no home & was an amazing sweet, gentle and obedient dog. Well, she is ours and her name is Glory!

We also have a girl from Canada living with us, Donna. She works in a soup kitchen back home. She came out last year and taught the kids at Ba Ny Ci for 3 months & she came back for a few more months. We are so thankful for what she has brought to the team here! She has an amazing voice & we are always greatly encouraged by her leading us in worship.

Thank you for all your prayers! We feel them J We are nothing without you all who support us in prayer! The mission field is easier in some ways than I thought, but way harder than a lot of the ways I had thought. Your encouragement is so appreciated & we love you all and miss you sooooooo much! May the Lamb that was slain receive the rewards of His sufferings!

Love, Trent, Amy, Jackson, Braden & our big 5 year old as of April 25th – Trinity!
